Dr Amshuda Sonday is a senior lecturer in the Division of Occupational Therapy at the University of Cape Town. Her undergraduate teaching and learning focus is on neuro physical rehabilitation, with a postgraduate teaching focus on OT identities and Practices. She is currently the Masters programme convener and her research takes a critical perspective to the development of professional identities of OT’s in Post-Apartheid South Africa. She offers socially responsive leadership as the current chair of the OTASA Education committee.
