He graduated with an Honours degree in Physiotherapy from the University of the Western Cape in 2003 and then went on to complete his Masters in 2007 also from the University of the Western Cape. He is currently busy with his PhD titled “Chronic diseases of lifestyle risk profile of spinal cord injured patients in Cape Town, South Africa”.
After working in the public sector for two years, he then moved on to opening two physiotherapy private practices in the Athlone/Rondebosch East area and also enjoyed being the sports physiotherapist for a professional soccer team during 2004-2006 seasons. He was the HOD of a private/public rehabilitation hospital’s physiotherapy department for 9 years and also held the acting hospital manager position numerous times during this time. We went on to opening two additional physiotherapy private practices in the Northern and Southern suburbs in Cape Town.
He holds a clinical educator position at the University of Cape Town since 2006.
